Mon Credo — Leslie Sinclair

I live in and produce my work in Toronto, which is located in Treaty 13 territory. This is the traditional land of the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishinaabe, the Wendat, and the Haudenosaunee. As a journalist and settler, I acknowledge the role that media plays in the marginalization of Indigenous people in Canada and commit to challenging colonial narratives through my writing.
